Junpei Manaka hurries up to the roof of his middle school and is startled when a pretty girl tumbles down from above him, flashing strawberry-print panties. Embarrassed, she flees into the sunset before he learns who she is, leaving a notebook behind. Junpei dreams of becoming a filmmaker, and the moment strikes him as ideal material for a movie, so he sets out to find her and restage it on film. The notebook leads him to Aya Toujou, but she turns out not to be the girl from the roof. Pushed by a dare from his friends, he then confesses to Tsukasa Nishino, the most beautiful girl in the third year. Her hair looks different, yet she also wears strawberry panties, which makes her seem like the girl he met, though that may not be so.
