Eiji thinks he wants a harem fantasy. Rin just wants him to see her. The show knows the difference, and so do you by episode two. What starts as a cute gimmick becomes genuinely painful to watch, because her different voices are just armor, and the real moment comes when she finally stops performing and he actually listens. It moves faster than romance anime has any right to, but that speed works, confession to kiss to marriage in one season isn't rushed here, it's the show refusing to waste time on anything that isn't about two people actually choosing each other.

Eiji Kitahama joins his high school's drama club hoping for a harem like the ones in his favorite manga. Rin Nanakura, a younger member of the club, has a serious crush on him and decides to help make that wish come true. Using her acting talent, she takes on one persona after another, from teasing to calm and collected, playing the girls of his pretend harem. As the two grow closer, she switches between characters ever more quickly, and her feelings for Eiji keep growing stronger. The open question is whether she can ever tell him the truth and simply be herself. The series is a romantic comedy with a slice-of-life feel.
