You're watching the Strike Witches cast breathe between wars, not fighting in one. The OVA strips away the apocalypse-level threats and just lets you see who these people are when nobody's dying, which means every small moment lands harder than it should. Three episodes that feel like visiting friends who matter to you, not just a bridge to the next movie.

Operation Victory Arrow is a three-episode OVA in the Strike Witches franchise, released in 2014. It takes place after Operation Mars from the second television series and before the 2012 Strike Witches movie. Each of the three episodes runs about thirty minutes and tells its own short story about members of the team who have gone back to their homes. The shorts were also shown at special theater screenings. Expect action with a science fiction setting.
