Shiroha's isolation isn't loneliness, it's a wall she's built because of what she can do, what she might hurt. Watching Hairi dismantle that wall one day at a time, asking nothing but presence, turns a summer romance into an act of courage. By the end, you understand that the "mysterious power" was never the point, it's what Shiroha discovers she's capable of feeling that breaks open the whole story.

Shiroha Naruse keeps her distance from the people of the island and spends her time alone. Hairi approaches her without reservation, and over time she slowly starts to open up to him. As the summer goes on, Hairi sees the mysterious power Shiroha holds. The film is a theatrical edit of the Summer Pockets anime series that focuses on Shiroha's storyline, a drama and romance with slice-of-life and supernatural elements.
