A boy alone in summer heat, watching the sky while everyone else is gone. The entire film happens in that stillness, in the space between boredom and something you don't have words for yet. This is what it feels like to be still enough to actually see something, made by someone who understands that a single moment, held long enough, becomes everything.

Summer vacation has emptied the neighborhood, with every other child gone off to stay with family. One boy remains, standing under the harsh summer sun and gazing up at the sky. The film is a psychological slice-of-life piece made in 2019 as a first-year student work in the animation department of the Graduate School of Film and New Media at Tokyo University of the Arts.
