A girl feeds her comatose brother into kill-or-be-killed scenarios because it's the only thing that might wake him up. Nagi fights from a wheelchair against assassins who see disability as weakness to exploit. The show doesn't soften this premise or apologize for it; it commits entirely to the violence of recovery, where love and brutality are the same act.
Shizuka accepts the most dangerous assassination contracts around, yet she is not the one who carries out the kills. That role falls to her brother Nagi, a formidable assassin who took a bullet to shield her and was left comatose and in a wheelchair. Shizuka has worked out how to rouse him: he has to be confronted with killing intent. So the siblings set out on a violent road to his recovery, taking on the deadliest opponents they can find. The result is an action series with a science fiction edge.
