Four OVA episodes look at the past and future of the players who took part in the National Tournament. In a two-part story, Seigaku travels to Osaka for a practice match against Shitenhouji. The other two episodes go back to the first year of two rival players: Atobe's start at Hyoutei and Kirihara's start at Rikkai. The collection mixes sports action with comedy, and the episodes were released across two volumes of two episodes each.
