Eight short, standalone stories spun off from Prince of Tennis gather players from rival middle school tennis teams and drop them into situations far from match play, told in picture drama form. One has Fudomine's captain Kippei Tachibana calling on other captains to help with practice, and Shitenhouji's Koharu Konjiki ends up smitten with both Tezuka and Atobe. In another, Shuusuke Fuji takes his younger brother Yuuta shopping for their older sister's birthday, while St. Rudolph's manager Hajime Mizuki misreads the outing as a plot to lure Yuuta back to Seishun and has the team trail them. Other stories include a chase after a dog that grabs Kawamura's stuffed toy and an online game mix-up between Eiji Kikumaru and Shuichirou Oishi. The tone mixes comedy and drama, with the rivals and teammates spending time together away from tournament play.
