A single minute that moves faster than most shows move in three episodes. Nobutaka Yoda films a mecha birth the way a requiem films a funeral, each frame timed to YOASOBI's escalation like the machine itself is learning to breathe. You'll watch it again immediately because the first time you were too busy catching your breath to actually see it.

The Blessing is a music video directed by Nobutaka Yoda for YOASOBI's song Shukufuku. The song draws on Ichirou Ookouchi's novel "Yurikago no Hoshi" and is also the opening theme of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. The video features newly made animation in a mecha and sci-fi vein. Two versions exist: the original Japanese one, released in October 2022, and an English-language version of the song, titled The Blessing, released that November.
