SYNOPSIS
Menou is an executioner tasked with hunting down Lost Ones, interdimensional travelers from Japan who arrive in her world carrying catastrophe in their wake. Her latest assignment seems straightforward until she corners a Lost One named Akari and discovers something impossible: this girl refuses to stay dead. Each time Menou strikes her down, Akari comes back, her mortality apparently suspended by forces neither of them fully understand. What begins as a simple execution becomes complicated. Menou's conviction falters as she spends more time with Akari, learning that the girl isn't the mindless destroyer the system made her out to be.
