Memory theft doesn't scare you until you realize the victims can't remember they lost anything. Azaka tears through a school where something ageless and cruel is rewinding students into blankness, and the investigation becomes personal the moment you understand what she's protecting. The action is vicious, the mystery unfolds like a trap closing, and by the end you're left wondering what memories matter enough to fight for.

In January 1999, strange incidents strike Reien Academy during winter break: fairies are stealing the students' memories. Azaka Kokutou, a student there and an apprentice mage, is sent by her mentor Touko Aozaki to find out what is happening. The culprit turns out to be another mage, but the fairies cannot be seen by Azaka despite her talent. Shiki Ryougi, whose special eyes can see them, joins her at the school. The two clash, largely because Azaka regards Shiki as a rival in love. As the situation worsens and the mystery deepens, Azaka has to learn to cooperate with Shiki to protect her classmates. The film mixes supernatural action with mystery and a thread of romance.
