SYNOPSIS
Shou's ordinary life shatters when he and his friend discover a mysterious metallic sphere buried in the woods. The object fuses with his body, transforming him into Guyver, a bio-engineered weapon of devastating power. Now grafted with alien armor that responds to his will, Shou becomes the unwilling soldier in a hidden war between advanced organisms and human civilization. The megacorporation Chronos hunts him relentlessly, desperate to reclaim the Guyver unit and two others like it. They dispatch grotesque bio-engineered creatures called Zoanoids to pursue their prey, each one deadlier than the last. Shou struggles to control his new form while staying ahead of enemies who view him as nothing more than stolen technology to be retrieved. As his world crumbles around him and everyone close to him becomes a target, Shou must grapple with an impossible choice: surrender the armor and lose his only defense, or embrace the power within him and risk losing his humanity entirely. The line between protector and monster blurs with each transformation.
