A princess watches her entire world burn, then finds peace in a place that has no memory of who she was. When the same destruction shows up to take that second chance away, she has to choose between hiding what she's learned to survive, or burning herself down to save people who don't owe her anything. The mahou shoujo genre usually promises transformation through hope. This one costs it.

Princess Sapphire arrives in Goldland with nothing but the memories of her destroyed homeland, Silverland, reduced to ruin by a catastrophic force called Nergal. She's a refugee searching for peace, finding comfort in the warmth of her new home and the people who welcome her. Just as she begins to believe in a second chance, Nergal returns to threaten Goldland with the same devastation that claimed everything she loved. Faced with the prospect of losing another world to the same darkness, Sapphire refuses to stand idle. She transforms from a grieving survivor into a warrior willing to stand against fate itself, picking up her blade with a resolve forged through loss. Determined that neither she nor anyone else will lose anything again, she fights to protect the people who showed her kindness when she had nothing. The action fantasy film draws its inspiration from Osamu Tezuka's manga Princess Knight.
