This is the season where the training-wheels chapter ends and the prophecy actually starts collecting its pieces. Season one asked you to care about a frontier kid who lost his grandfather Varghese to his own father, Ironside, and then handed him the least dignified support group in the kingdom: Donny the runaway acrobat, Nasiens the poison boy who talks like a pharmacist, Anne who can see every lie you tell, and a talking fox named Sin who was clearly never just a fox. Now the Four Knights roster fills out, the fights stop being scrappy and start hitting with real choreography, and Percival's whole hopeless-optimist thing finally has weight behind it. Fair warning, it opens slow and it is not the original Sins at its peak, but it earns itself back episode by episode. If you loved the Boar Hat crew for the bickering more than the power levels, these kids scratch the same itch.

The second season of The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse runs for 12 episodes and carries on the action fantasy adventure that began in the first season. That earlier season introduced Percival, a gentle boy raised by his grandfather on a remote frontier known as the Finger of God. His quiet life changed after a meeting with a mysterious knight, and he set out on a long journey.
