This is a victory lap for people who actually stuck with the series. The animation budget finally shows up to match what the fanservice deserves, and the censoring gags are clever enough that you're laughing instead of just looking away. It ends on a cliffhanger that makes you want season three yesterday.

With the conflict in the demon world finally settled, Basara and the rest of the cast set off on a vacation together. Basara is the last descendant of a clan of demon-fighting heroes, yet he serves as master to two demon girls, the demoness Mio and the succubus Maria, and ends up protecting them rather than fighting them. This single-episode OVA from 2018 mixes action, fantasy, romance and ecchi content.
