Wild Tiger and Barnaby's dynamic is what carries this, two middle-aged men in a young hero's game, bickering like an old married couple while genuinely needing each other to survive. The show never pretends their partnership is easy or that experience makes you invincible. It's about being replaced, being tired, being relevant anyway, one sponsored fight at a time.

Wild Tiger and Barnaby are back on the job, fighting for peace in Sternbild City and for the sponsors whose logos they wear. The hero system born in their city has spread around the world, and more heroes keep appearing. With Kotetsu returned to the First League, HeroTV makes a buddy system its big new project, pairing heroes to fight crime together on the strength of the famous duo's popularity. As fresh faces join the ranks, veterans and rookies alike are tested, learning what it means to rely on one another for the good of the city. Action, comedy and drama share the stage.
