Doug and Kirill's chemistry is immediate and stupid in the best way, turning every drug bust into a comedy sketch that somehow also solves the mystery. Episodes work standalone, so you can drop in whenever, but the cast grows on you fast enough that you'll want to watch them all anyway.
SYNOPSIS
Lisvalletta gleams under twin suns, but beneath its polished surface runs a vein of organized crime. A synthetic drug called Anthem has poisoned the streets, turning addicts into unpredictable threats. The SEVEN-O Special Crime Investigation Unit fights back through an unconventional system: pairing veteran detectives with specially selected partners in what they call Double Decker teams. Doug Billingham is a grizzled investigator who's seen the worst the city offers. His new partner, Kirill Vrubel, arrives shrouded in mystery. Nobody quite knows where Kirill comes from or what he's truly capable of, but their chemistry becomes undeniable as they chase down Anthem dealers and uncover larger conspiracies lurking in the shadows. The partnership balances Doug's experience with Kirill's unpredictable instincts, creating a dynamic that works despite the tension between them. Expect procedural crime-fighting mixed with genuine laughs, strange sci-fi elements that emerge slowly, and two characters who grow to respect each other through chaos and danger.
