The movie trusts that you already love Kotetsu and Barnaby, so it spends two hours proving why that love is justified. It pulls off something rare: a mystery plot that matters less than the quiet moments where two men who drive each other insane actually admit they need each other. This is a film made by people who understood that the real superpower in Tiger & Bunny was never the costumes, it was the partnership, and how two damaged guys learned to stop performing and start being honest.

Sternbild City is home to Next, people with special abilities who protect its citizens as superheroes on the popular program Hero TV. The veteran Wild Tiger and his partner Barnaby Brooks Jr. are among them. In this feature film, a mystery takes place on Justice Day, the festival held in honor of Sternbild's legendary goddess. The movie mixes action and comedy with a central mystery.
