The time crunch is everything: you get two episodes to watch a boy choose between twelve girls while the countdown to graduation ticks. Every conversation matters because there are no second chances, no filler arcs to circle back, no safety net of a full season to build something slow. Shiori isn't the only option, but the show never pretends the choice you make won't cost you everyone else.

Twelve girls attend Kirameki High School, and the story centers on one of them, Fujisaki Shiori. It opens as the third school year begins. That is the last year before graduation, when the main character can pick one of the girls and start dating her. The two-episode OVA is a romantic drama set in the final stretch of high school.
