Memole is one of 245 tiny people from the Riruru Star who end up on Earth after their ship makes an emergency landing. Her people are so small that one could stand in a human's palm. Drawn by lovely piano music, Memole finds a large house and a girl named Marielle playing there. Visiting again in secret with her friends Popitu, Rupangu and Pi, she sees that Marielle is gravely ill. Saddened, Memole sheds a tear that lands on the girl's lips, and Marielle begins to recover. A strong friendship grows between them, and soon Marielle is following Memole out to the woods for adventures. The show is a gentle fantasy with slice of life elements.
