Agetarou Katsumata runs his family's tonkatsu restaurant in Shibuya, a legacy that stretches back generations. After a delivery gets him invited into a nightclub, he keeps going back, and one night a show by the legendary American DJ Big Master Fly gives him an epiphany: the rhythm of frying pork cutlets mirrors the craft of a DJ mixing tracks. Taken with this connection, Agetarou commits to mastering both worlds at once, splitting his time between the kitchen fryer and the DJ booth. Backed by his neighborhood friends and his mentor DJ Oily, he chases that dream while juggling family problems, romantic trouble and plenty of other mishaps. What unfolds is a short-form music comedy about an impulsive young man trying to find his own path without dropping his responsibilities.
