Four and a half minutes, and it still gets you. This is the YOASOBI machine working exactly as designed: Ayase builds a song out of somebody else's short story, ikura sings it like she was there, and Koronosuke Koron animates it into something you rewatch instead of pressing play on the next thing. The romance isn't decorated with the music, it IS the music, which is why the visuals sit back and let a single summer promise carry the whole runtime. Then there's the 2021 English self-cover, "Tracing A Dream," where ikura re-sings it in a language that doesn't bend the same way and somehow lands the same ache. If you've ever had a favorite song you couldn't explain to your friends without just handing them your headphones, this is the anime version of that.

The original Japanese one was uploaded on January 18, 2020. An English version, set to YOASOBI's English-language rendition titled Tracing A Dream, followed on November 11, 2021.
