Leon's entire survival strategy is built on knowing the game's script, except the game stopped following the script three episodes ago. The comedy lives in that gap: watching a man who prepared for every heroine route get absolutely blindsided because actual people don't follow branching narratives. By season two, he's stopped trying to optimize and started actually caring, which means he's finally losing.

Leon, a former office worker, was reborn inside a harsh otome dating sim where women hold power and only handsome men get a place at the top. His edge is that he remembers the whole game from his previous life, having played it through to the end. This second season continues his story, still driven by his wish to settle into a calm, easy life out in the countryside. The TV series runs for twelve episodes and mixes action, fantasy, romance and mecha. It adapts the isekai fantasy light novels written by Mishima Yomu and illustrated by Monda.
