SYNOPSIS
Mai captains Ikkokukan High School's bowling club with natural talent that should make her unstoppable. But there's a curse hanging over her: whenever she rolls three consecutive strikes, something supernatural forces an impossible split right after. It's as if the universe won't let her cross the finish line. Rina, a first-year member and the club's sole other bowler, watches this pattern repeat one too many times. She calls Mai out directly: you're sabotaging yourself. You're afraid of actually winning. Rina doesn't have Mai's gift, but she has hunger. She wants to compete at the highest level, and she won't stick around for a captain who won't fight back against her own curse.
