The magical girl formula gets handed to three chaotic idiots who have no business being guardians, and somehow that's exactly what makes it work. Romi ends up playing the actual adult in a team of "royal" Teeniepings whose idea of strategy is to wing it, which flips the usual dynamic where the human girl learns from wise mentors. You're watching someone catch magical creatures not because destiny demands it, but because three incompetent royals crashed into her life and now she's stuck cleaning up their mess.

When the Jewel Teeniepings suddenly vanish from Jewel Forest, three of their own head to Earth to rescue them. Joahping, Teeheeping, and Trustping are students at Royal Teenieping Academy and candidates to become the next Royal Teeniepings, though they are still very immature. On Earth, Romi and Heartsping join forces with the trio to find and catch the fifteen missing Jewel Teeniepings. The short-format series mixes comedy and drama with magical girl fantasy.
