This hour-long spring special aired between episodes 21 and 22 of Urusei Yatsura and comes in two parts. The first gathers outtakes and recaps of the opening 21 episodes, framed by Ataru's mother looking back on how aliens, rivals and friends have upended her once quiet household since Lum arrived. The second is a standalone original story. Kaede, a young kunoichi unsure about life as a ninja, angers her elderly master Yatsude by losing a secret scroll in the woods. Meanwhile, Ataru is bored on a school trip to Nara until he finds the scroll and draws Kaede's attention. Expect a mix of slapstick comedy, romance and sci-fi action.
