Urusei Yatsura at its core is built on one rule: take the most basic setup imaginable, then systematically destroy it with escalating stupidity. Their teachers have other ideas: they set up an absurd obstacle course that the students, already in their swimsuits, must get through before they can reach the water. Predictably, the whole thing collapses into chaos. The one-episode sci-fi romantic comedy special adapts a story from volume 23 of the manga. It first screened at the "It's a Rumic World" exhibition in Tokyo's Ginza district in 2008, alongside specials for Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2.
