Anime Like Inukami!
Youko is a dog girl who will destroy your life if you look at her wrong, and Keita is the broke loser she's decided to torment forever. The show knows exactly what it is: slapstick chaos where every scheme to make money backfires, every attempt at romance implodes, and the only constant is Youko's feral energy and Keita's complete inability to control anything about his situation. It's silly in the way that only 2006 comedy anime understood, where the punchline is always physical, immediate, and doesn't care if it makes sense.
SYNOPSIS
Keita comes from a prestigious family of supernatural beast tamers, but he's got one problem: he's terrible at the job. Cast out for his incompetence, he gets a second chance when Youko arrives on his doorstep. She's an Inukami, a dog-like spirit creature, and she's gorgeous, elegant, and theoretically perfect. Except she isn't. Youko is a walking disaster who leaves destruction in her wake, and she's bound herself to Keita whether he likes it or not. What follows is pure chaos. Keita would rather chase money and girls than deal with his new supernatural liability, but Youko has other plans. She's violently jealous, prone to demolishing entire buildings when she's upset, and completely immune to his attempts to send her away. Their contract is binding, which means Keita is stuck managing a powerful spirit with zero self-control and a possessive streak that rivals a hurricane. It's slapstick comedy filtered through the lens of a guy desperately trying to survive living with a furious dog deity who wants all his attention.
