Akira's searching for something he lost that no punch can fix. The show knows this matters more than winning, so every fight becomes a reason to understand him differently. You're not watching a tournament, you're watching a man rebuild himself against the only people who can teach him what strength actually means.

Akira Yuki has trained for years in Bajiquan under his grandfather, and he longs to see a constellation of eight stars that shows itself only to the truly strong. Unable to see it, he sets out on the road to learn how. Meanwhile, the robotics scientist Eva Durix wants to build the perfect soldier, and her group, Judgment 6, abducts Sarah Bryant, a college student close to Akira who has been looking into a strange accident involving her brother. Akira has to battle through many challenges to rescue her. His travels also bring him up against strong fighters like the Koenkan and the enigmatic Kage Maru, and they draw him into an international conspiracy. Based on the video game, this action adventure with comedic touches also features Jacky and Pai.
