A woman alone at a bar after work is not a tragedy in this show, it's a ritual. Wakako's "pshuuu" sound is the only victory condition that matters: finding the exact drink that completes the exact meal, the moment when nothing else exists. Two minutes is all it takes to make you want to do the same thing tonight.
Twenty-six-year-old office worker Wakako Murasaki has one favorite way to relax: heading out alone after work to eat and drink. She visits all sorts of bars and restaurants, including places she has never tried, and takes her search for the ideal match between a dish and a drink seriously. When she finds that pairing, a happy "pshuuu" slips out. A bad day at the office only makes these solo outings more appealing, and as the seasons and her moods shift, she samples a wide range of food and drink. The result is a short, gentle slice-of-life series about finding pleasure in a good meal on her own.
