Four girls turn into a train together and have to figure out how to exist as one thing. The show knows it's absurd, leans into it, and somehow makes the constraint generate all the warmth. A perfect palette cleanser for anyone burnt out on plot, built entirely on the chemistry of people stuck in the weirdest situation pretending it's normal.

Shizuru, Nadeshiko, Remi and Akira are hit by the effects of 7G and find themselves turned into a Wan Wan Train. Now transformed, the four have to see whether they can manage to get along. This nine-episode ONA from 2024 is a mini anime spun off from Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku?, released on the KADOKAWA Anime YouTube channel.
