Hiyori's grandmother has died, and Hiyori cannot stop crying, day after day. To put an end to the tears, her father builds a humanoid robot named Washimo, made to look just like her granny, right down to the dentures. Washimo walks at a pace somewhere between a snail and a rhinoceros beetle, faster than the first and slower than the second, yet it can actually outrun a bullet train. Expect short comedy episodes with a slice-of-life feel, built around this odd robot grandmother.
