The relationship doesn't recover in season two, it just finds new ways to break. Touya's passivity has metastasized into something uglier by now, and Yuki's ambition has calcified into a performance she can't stop even when the cameras are off. This is what happens when two people keep choosing their separate futures instead of a shared one, played out in the spaces between concert dates and empty apartment nights.

The second half of White Album, covering episodes 14 through 26, continues the drama around college student Touya Fujii and his girlfriend Yuki Morikawa, a rising idol singer. Their relationship keeps facing strain from people around them: classmates at Touya's college, figures from Yuki's work in the entertainment world, and others beyond both. The show blends romance and drama with a music setting.
