Anime Like Wingman
A kid in a homemade superhero costume gets the girl who actually fell from the sky, and the show treats both of them like they deserve each other. The comedy runs on earnest stupidity colliding with real stakes, Kenta's obsession with being a hero becomes the only thing standing between alien invasions and his school. It's 1984 energy: trashy, sincere, and completely committed to the bit that a weirdo otaku might actually be the only person crazy enough to save the world.
SYNOPSIS
Kenta is a scrawny junior high student living out his hero fantasy in a homemade Wing Man costume, convinced he's destined for justice despite everyone treating him like a delusional otaku. His childhood friend Miku seems to be the only one who gets it. Everything changes when a mysterious girl literally falls from the sky and crashes into his life. He takes her home to recover, figuring that's what a real hero would do. The girl knows something Kenta doesn't: he possesses a Dream Note, a magical artifact that can turn anything he sketches into reality. Suddenly his ridiculous Wing Man designs become actual superpowers, and what started as lonely cosplay becomes legitimate superhero work. But the girl's arrival wasn't random. There's a reason she fell into his world, and forces are moving in the shadows. Kenta has to balance schoolyard crushes and teenage awkwardness with genuine danger, all while figuring out if his childish dreams were actually destiny calling.
