A girl allergy so severe it causes full-body hives is the perfect premise for a 90s romcom, and DNA² never wastes the bit. The show commits entirely to ridiculous scenarios where Junta's transformation into a world-class playboy creates cascading romantic chaos, each episode funnier than the last because the joke is structural, not punchline-dependent. The animation holds up, the comedy timing lands, and then halfway through it abruptly pivots into Dragon Ball Z territory and loses what made it special, but those first six episodes are pure, unforced hilarity that rewarded anyone paying attention to this one when it aired.
SYNOPSIS
