Seirin High's basketball team pushes deeper into the Winter Cup tournament, facing down two formidable opponents. In the quarterfinals, they confront Yosen, whose near impenetrable defense is built around Murasakibara, one of Kuroko's former Generation of Miracles teammates. Kuroko manages to score his first point, while Kagami's rivalry with Himuro, a player tied to his past, heats up as the two try to settle who is better. The game stays intense to the very end.
