Logger Vick is still bald and still losing to a pair of bears, and by season five that repetition has become the whole point. The show understands that comfort means watching the same villain get outsmarted in infinitely different ways across a forest that never stops surprising him. You're not here for plot twists or character arcs; you're here to watch animals be animals and a logger learn nothing for the 52nd time in a row.

Xiong Chumo returns for a fifth season, a comedy made up of 52 short episodes and known in English as Boonie Bears. Earlier seasons centered on the bear brothers Briar and Bramble, who teamed up with their woodland friends to defend their forest home from the bald, stubborn Logger Vick and his dreams of getting rich by cutting it down. Those clashes were played mainly for laughs, with plenty of adventure along the way.
