The girls come back from retirement and realize they're fighting for something bigger than saving the world. Every power-up costs them something real, and the final episode strips away the transformation sequences to remind you what this was always actually about: five friends who chose each other over everything else. The animation stutters in places, but the emotional architecture holds.

Nozomi and her friends had lost their powers and parted ways with Coco and Nuts of the Palmier Kingdom. Then the mysterious Flora revives them as Pretty Cure with new abilities and asks them to come find her at Cure Rosegarden. Reaching it takes the magical Rose Pact, which they cannot yet use, plus the help of the four rulers whose lands border Palmier. Eternal, a sinister organization that hoards treasures, wants the Rose Pact for itself and has its own designs on the garden. New allies join the fight: Syrup, a surly courier who can turn into a huge bird and carry the girls anywhere, and Milky Rose, a mysterious fighter. The result is an action comedy in the magical girl tradition.
