A five-tailed fox named Yobi lives quietly in the forest with her unlikely group of shipwrecked alien companions, far from the humans who destroyed her family. When a villager captures one of her alien friends, Yobi heads into the human world to rescue him. There she meets Geum Yee, a student at a school for maladjusted children. Drawn to him, Yobi joins the students and enjoys the pleasures of human life. Trouble is closing in, though: a fox hunter and a mysterious shadow man are both tracking her.
