The world has already ended, but nobody told the people living in it. When a radio forecast warns of an approaching typhoon, an old friend invites her to shelter at the gas station he runs. Returning afterward, Alpha finds her cafe badly damaged. She resolves to take other jobs to pay for repairs, setting out to see what remains of the world beyond her quiet home.
