The fairy tales you learned as a child were always darker than the sanitized versions. This OVA strips away the storybook gloss and shows you what actually happened, not with shock value, but with a quiet certainty that makes it worse. By the time you finish, you'll realize the real horror was never the witch or the curse, but the people involved.

Three classic fairy tales get stripped of their storybook innocence in this brutal reinterpretation of Grimm's darkest stories. Each episode of this three-part horror OVA peels back a familiar tale to show a cruel, bloody and lustful truth. The two brothers lost in the woods in Hansel and Gretel turn out to be criminals. Blue Beard is revealed as a cannibal who cannot bear his wife's infidelity. Cinderella harbors an unhealthy fixation on the prince.
