Nori Kamitsuki moves from Chiba to Gunma Prefecture, following Otoya Todoroki, a friend who relocated there back in elementary school. On the way, Todoroki texts him an ominous warning to turn back, since no one who enters Gunma ever returns. Kamitsuki ignores it and settles into school life, where his new friends set out to overturn every negative stereotype about the prefecture. They show him how Gunma stands apart from the rest of Japan, from its local food and landmarks to its school routines and the attitude of its people. The result is a short-form comedy about a place often called the least popular prefecture in the country.
