Sohoku High's cycling team is back, and the Inter High race picks up where the first season left off. Onoda, Naruko, Imaizumi and the rest of the Sohoku riders head into the third day of the competition, where they meet a new challenger: Machimiya Eikichi and his team from Hiroshima Kureminami Technical High School, who care about one thing above all, beating Hakone. High school riders push their bodies to the limit and stake everything on their bikes in a sports drama that keeps its comedic streak.
