The absence of Togo becomes the gravitational center of everything, pulling every scene toward a question the show already answered but you're not ready to accept. This season knows exactly what it costs its characters to be heroes, and it doesn't let them off with a speech about friendship. The score swells at moments that should feel hollow, making beauty and devastation inseparable, until you can't tell if you're moved or just broken.

In this second season, the Hero Club of Sanshu Middle School has already completed its destined mission and now spends its days helping anyone who needs it. Yuuna, Karin, and the sisters Fuu and Itsuki are joined by Sonoko Nogi, a hero from an earlier era. Then the girls realize their friend Mimori Tougou is gone, with every sign of her erased except their own memories. With no clues to follow, they regain their power to transform and set out to find her. What they discover shakes them, and their choices start to reshape their lives. The show mixes magical girl action with psychological drama and slice of life.
