This movie understands that a love story between two men doesn't need permission to be the biggest thing on screen. The ice becomes the language they speak when words fail, and every competition is really about choosing each other over everything else. You watch two people who've already won the world figure out that winning each other was always the point.

Yuri!!! on ICE The Movie: ICE ADOLESCENCE is a feature film that continues Yuri!!! on ICE, the 2016 figure skating series. In that series, Yuri Katsuki leaves the Grand Prix beaten and ready to quit. Encounters with champion Viktor Nikiforov and up-and-coming skater Yuri Plisetsky push him back onto the ice. The film is a sports story built on that world of competitive skating.
