A prequel film to the 2006 Zegapain TV series, re-edited by Sunrise from the original show and expanded with scenes the TV version never had. It covers what happened during the first server resets that Kyo lived through, and it sets up Operation Cardia, the events that lead into the prologue of the first episode and on to the moon mission. The mix is mecha action, science fiction and romance.
