SYNOPSIS
In the year 20XX, competitive card gaming has evolved into something extraordinary. Players called Concodes partner with advanced AI entities known as Codemen to battle in ZENONZARD, a high-stakes tournament that captivates the world. The championship, called THE ZENON, attracts elite competitors and devoted fans alike. Souta Azuma is just a regular high school student until Eilietta Lash appears and turns his life upside down. She's a Codeman searching for a human partner, and she's chosen him. Before Souta can fully process what's happening, he's pulled into the competitive circuit alongside this mysterious AI. Their first real test comes sooner than expected: a match against Shion Saionji, the school's most celebrated player, and her own formidable Codeman partner. What begins as reluctant acceptance transforms into something deeper as Souta discovers what it takes to survive at the highest level of play.
