Anime Like Zombie Loan
Michiru sees death written on people's necks, and two classmates with pitch-black rings turn out to be rotting from the inside, alive only because they made a deal with something older than mercy. The show lands its horror and comedy in the same moment, never choosing between them. SYNOPSIS
Michiru sees death coming. Her eyes mark the doomed with darkening rings around their necks, a grim countdown visible only to her. When she spots two classmates wrapped in pitch-black circles, she rushes to warn them. Instead, she discovers they're already dead, kept functioning by a supernatural contract with Zombie-Loan, a shady organization that extends the lives of the deceased for a price. That price is blood. Chika and Shito hunt creatures that shouldn't exist, eliminating zombies that leak into the world of the living. They need Michiru's rare ability, her death-seeing eyes, to track these monsters. Reluctant at first, she's pulled into their grim work, becoming their guide through a hidden underworld where the line between living and dead blurs completely. What starts as a warning becomes an alliance forged in darkness. The three must navigate dangerous jobs, hostile creatures, and the looming threat of their own expiration dates. Nobody gets a free ride from Zombie-Loan, and the debt always comes due.
