An ordinary young woman is drawn into another world and learns that she is a long-lost princess of the dream world, a realm where people live on the energy of dreams. That world is under attack from monsters called dream-eaters, which steal the dreams of its many princes and leave them unable to wake. To save the dream world, she must rouse these princes and enlist their help against the onslaught. The story is a fantasy adventure built around her new role and the princes she gathers.
