SYNOPSIS
Kimichika Haijima returns to his quiet hometown of Fukui after creating chaos at his Tokyo volleyball club, hoping for a fresh start. Instead, he reconnects with Yunii Kuroba, his childhood friend who possesses incredible athletic gifts but crumbles under pressure. Their reunion sparks something immediate: a partnership that feels inevitable, two pieces fitting together despite their opposite temperaments. They land at Seiin High School's volleyball team, a group climbing out from years of mediocrity. Captain Oda barks orders with the intensity of someone half his height. Vice-captain Aoki cuts through the noise with sharp observations and sharper words. Scattered among the roster are players with their own obstacles: Kanno navigates practice in long sleeves due to a sun allergy, carrying complications most teammates don't see.
